Delete your account and cloud data

This page is for shops that turned on the cloud in Bazaar Ledger, or signed in with Google for a plan. If you never did, we hold nothing about you or your shop and there is nothing to delete. Your books are on your phone, and uninstalling the app removes them.

In the app

Only the shop's owner can do this. Open Settings, Cloud and tap "Delete account and cloud data". The app asks for the owner's PIN (or to type the word DELETE), then deletes everything on the server at once. It needs the internet. Your books stay on your phone.

Without the app

If the phone is lost, or the app is gone:

Write to bazarledger@gmail.com from the email address of the Google account you signed in with, or send the first group of your recovery code (the first five characters, before the first dash; never the whole code). We will reply to confirm it is you, and delete what is listed below within 30 days.

What is deleted

• the account link: your Google account's id and email, and the record of your plan and purchase;
• the shop and every phone's key;
• every sealed backup;
• the sealed sync changes held for your phones;
• every link (bills and live account links) and its sealed copy.

This cannot be undone. We could not read any of it, and nobody can bring it back after.

What is kept, and why

Nothing about you or your shop, except two things that go away on their own:

• The server's rolling log: one line per request: the time, the kind of request, its path without anything after a "?", the answer, how long it took and, for a request from one of a shop's phones, the shop's random number; the sender's IP address only when a request is refused; never what was sent. It is overwritten as new lines arrive (it holds about 50 MB, days to a few weeks of traffic). It is kept to see and stop abuse.
• The safety copy of the server's data, kept off the server in case it fails, for 30 nights. An account deleted today is gone from every copy within 30 days.

Google Play keeps its own record of a purchase, under Google's privacy policy.

Apna account aur cloud data mitaa dein (Roman Urdu)

Yeh page un dukaanon ke liye hai jinhon ne Bazaar Ledger mein cloud on kiya, ya plan ke liye Google se sign in kiya. Agar aap ne kabhi aisa nahin kiya to hamare paas aap ya aap ki dukaan ka kuch nahin, mitaane ko kuch nahin. Aap ka hisaab aap ke phone par hai.

App mein

Sirf dukaan ka malik kar sakta hai. Settings, Cloud kholein aur "Account aur cloud data mitaa dein" dabayein. App malik ka PIN (ya DELETE likhna) poochti hai, phir server par sab kuch ek saath mita deti hai. Internet chahiye. Aap ka hisaab phone par rehta hai.

App ke baghair

Agar phone kho gaya ya app nahin rahi:

bazarledger@gmail.com par likhein: apne Google account ke email se, ya apne recovery code ka pehla group bhejein (pehle dash se pehle ke paanch harf; poora code kabhi nahin). Hum jawab de kar tasdeeq karenge ke yeh aap hain, phir neeche likhi cheezein 30 din ke andar mita denge.

Kya mita diya jata hai

• account ka link: Google account ki id aur email, aur plan aur khareedari ka record;
• dukaan aur har phone ki chaabi;
• har band (sealed) backup;
• aap ke phones ke liye rakhi band sync tabdeeliyan;
• har link (bill aur live khata) aur us ki band copy.

Yeh wapas nahin ho sakta. Hum is mein se kuch parh nahin sakte the, aur mitne ke baad koi wapas nahin la sakta.

Kya rehta hai, aur kyun

Aap ya aap ki dukaan ke baare mein kuch nahin, siwaye do cheezon ke jo khud khatam ho jati hain:

• Server ka chalta hua log: har request par ek line: waqt, request ki qisam, raasta (? ke baad kuch nahin), jawab, kitni der lagi, aur dukaan ke phone ki request par dukaan ka random number; bhejne wale ka IP address sirf tab jab request radd ho; bheji hui cheez kabhi nahin. Naye lines aate hi purana log mit'ta jata hai (taqriban 50 MB, yaani chand din se kuch haftay). Yeh ghalat istemal rokne ke liye hai.
• Server ke data ki hifazati copy, jo server se bahar 30 raat rakhi jati hai. Aaj mitaya gaya account 30 din mein har copy se chala jata hai.

Google Play apni khareedari ka record apni policy ke mutabiq rakhta hai.
